Shared Wisdom

Shared Wisdom

A respectful exploration of where Krishna's and Buddha's teachings complement, contrast with, and illuminate one another.

Shared Wisdom does not claim that Krishna and the Buddha taught the same philosophy. Instead, it creates space to learn from each tradition honestly and respectfully.

Action and Non-Attachment

The Bhagavad Gita teaches disciplined action without attachment to results. Buddhist teachings examine craving and clinging as sources of suffering. Together, they invite a deep inquiry into how we can act wholeheartedly without being controlled by outcomes.

Devotion and Awareness

Krishna traditions often emphasize loving devotion, while Buddhist practice emphasizes awareness and insight. Both can challenge self-centeredness and cultivate humility.

Compassion and Service

Both traditions offer powerful reasons to move beyond narrow self-interest and serve others.

Inner Freedom

Both ask what it means to live without being ruled by fear, craving, ego, or confusion, while offering distinct answers and practices.
